You know how colleges can look at your facebook account....?

can they look at any accounts that you are in. like do they look at your yahoo answers account? or any other account you have on the internet?

Reply:Sure if you have told them your user names and passwords. If they find a way to sign into any of your accounts and without YOUR permission, you can SUE them blind. Since most people know this, they're not going to do it. However, colleges, just like the general public, can look at your public profile, so I would advise you to make all of that private if you have anything that you wouldn't want the public to see.

Reply:I doubt that they can do much about a yahoo answers account. These questions are open to the public. Anyone can view them. But I can't see how they would be able to trace your questions and your YA account back to you.





As for facebook, I have heard numerous stories about how employers and colleges and universities have looked at a person's facebook to get a general idea about what kind of person they really are and whether they are dependable.

they could not look at your yahoo account or any other account, email or otherwise, because they can't prove it is you.
Reply:Not unless you use them on school computers. Delete the history when your done.
Reply:They might. You never know who's going to see what you put on the internet. If they can find your myspace, they can probably find any other account you have.
