I met my friend on facebook but his girlfriend does not know who I am.?

I met a college heartthrob at facebook by searching his name. We have not seen each other for years and I am older than him for about 10 years. We both saw each other in a place I thought I had a crush on him and so did he but we did not get any further because i had commitment phobia and I was to shy. when I saw his name on facebook, i used a feign name to add him and he accepted me as friend, but I learnt from his details that he now has a girlfriend and when his gf saw my feign name in his contact she asked him openly who I am. I feel like I should not disturb his life anymore coz we both changed since we met. The other thing is now he has gone overseas and I am older than him. I have deleted my accont and my conscience told me I should not keep on like that. He sent me a msg and asked why I have only got one friend and I think he does not know who I am. Even though I use my real name to contact him he might not remember....I don't know what to do.

i would just leave it alone. he probley doesnt remember or he just doesnt want to mess up his relationship that he has now
Reply:i would either leave him alone, or dont evn metion the account, and act like you just found his facebook!...if you tell him that that was you....he might think that you are a stalker!!
