we are selling electronics to college students and I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to spread the word. what is the best way to reach the college students and what do companies like facebook do to go from 0 users to 100000000000000000000000 users :) !!
How should I advertise (spread the word) of my college website?
*Place an ad in the college newspaper
*Put brochures in all the student unions, lounges and other gathering areas
*Set up a booth in a high traffic area for students to sign up to receive mailers on promotions and offers (as an incentive you can offer free t-shirt that advertise your electronic product or other catchy gadgets)
*Have you team hand out coupons near campus housing areas, library, bookstore and other relevant places..
*You can recruit fraternities, sororities, Ra's to spread the word in exchange for a pizza party for their brothers, sisters, floors, communities
***whatever you decided to do have fun, involve other people and use your creativity that's the best way to connect with college students and remember the three F's food, free stuff and fun (any student can relate to that) Good luck!!!!!!!

Try reading a couple of books on ecommerce and website design.
Other than that, you could try advertising in every college newspaper in the United States.
