You go to college to learn and get a degree, not play moola.
Reply:Use http://www.whatmyipaddress.net

To unblock Facebook and Myspace from school or work.
Reply:Try cracking your books for a change.
Reply:In other words, when other people are trying to get work done, you feel you have the right to get in their way to play around.

Frankly, I'm surprised your school doesn't block such sites 24x7.
Reply:Give http://offcampuslunch.com/ a try. Simply enter in the web address of the site you wish to visit (like myspace.com) into the 'Web Address' section on OffCampusLunch and click "Go!". You should then be able to browse the internet without any school filters blocking you!

Try http://abc.searchandstudy.com/ or http://searchandstudy.com/ if OffCampusLunch is already blocked for you.
Reply:The other answerers are correct. They have too many students using too much bandwidth playing games, downloading music, etc. When this happens, students and staff have to suffer when trying to connect to other sites. One option that you have is to by a sprint or verizon wwan card and you will be able to get around your schools network security without a problem, because it will be your own personal connection.
