What do you think of meeting people to date through Facebook [I'm in college and see hotties in my network]?

I love facebook!! But i meet people through there all the time and the only ones i would ever think of dating would be the ones that go to my college. Long distance relationships just don't work...no matter how hot they are.

You need to deffinetly chat with the person for at least a month and make sure there moods are stable (as stable as they get for a women). Watch for chicks that put themselfs down it's not a good sign. I met a guy who lives in the same city as I do and we started talking and things were going great until he kept asking and asking if I would come over to his house after only a week of knowing him. I turned him down a few times and the last time he went nuts. Watch for people who are moody.
Reply:Kid, I would say NO. That's what mixers, grab-a-dates, and socials are for! College is about socialization! Not sitting in my room and networking on facebook (that's for class). Not only that, who's to say that these hotties didn't paste a friend or was a glam photo. Not to rain on your parade but get outside please.
Reply:It's really no different than meeting another in the mall, at a bar, or anywhere. Don't see any problem with it, in the past i met girls through Myspace, HotorNot, and other social networking sites, in fact met many great friends that i still have today. So go for it.
