How can i join a college group on facebook if i am not a student?

i am not a student and i know i need an email and then confirm the network but....i am not a student. i really want to join it....what can i do!?

Yeah, the point is that they only want students of that school in that school's group. You can join groups about the school that aren't officially from the school, though. Just run a search for them. For example, you might not be able to join a group like "Notre Dame Class of '11," but you could join "Fighting Irish Fans" or something like that.

Reply:you can not, even though facebook is now opened to anyone, you must have a email or know someone with a email for that netwrok to join it.
Reply:you need the colleges registered email address to join the network, however if you would like to join a group related to the college you just sign up.
Reply:someone from the college that you try to add would have to clarify that you go to that college first
