Im going to college and do you guys highly recommend me getting a facebook?

i have both and i think that facebook is better for college age kids. it is becoming more popular though so hopefully myspace will die. until then i will have both and will check both because some people only have one. but facebook is definitely better and more interesting.
Reply:definitely facebook....myspace is not at all a sophisticated choice....erica sherica berica lerica, everyone has one....it has gotten soooo cheap.
Reply:Facebook has less junk, more privacy, and more communication options. For instance it is easier to keep in touch with friends or make comments on pictures/posts/etc.. Although if you're looking to customize your profile, add graphics, etc, then go with myspace. Facebook profiles are pretty standard.
Reply:i think it would be cool if you could have both, because of your new friend have a myspace but doesnt have a facebook, you could guys could still talk everybody is online on myspace everyday. so i say get both of them, i have both of them so cool

Reply:Facebook is definitely a lot better than Myspace, in my opinion. Better layout, more organized, not so much spam and junk, etc.
Reply:I had a myspace account for about 10 minutes once. It creeped me out that I got friend requests from a bunch of people I had never met. Myspace is definitely trashy, and the pages are really hard to look at for longer than 2 seconds.





Facebook is especially popular with the college crowd, because that's where it started. It has a lot more privacy (less spam, less creepiness), and a lot of people use it.
Reply:Myspace has more features but...FACEBOOK is defiantely is better it is more private and you can find your friends easier and there are really no limits its kind of hard to get used to at first but once you get used to it then it will be really easy i have 2 myspace and one facebook! And I like facebook ALOT better!!!
Reply:On facebook, you can find all your lost friends from work or school. It's a good way to keep in contact with the one's you love and also a good way to meet new people, either from your own country or other places. This is the reason why I use facebook, you should get it.

Reply:Facebook is better for older kids because myspace is being overrun by the under 15 crowd. It's more simple and less customizable but it also affords a bit more privacy. They're also beginning to add new applications with which you can customize your page a bit more.
Reply:Use both. Some ppl have one or the other or even both. It will allow you to keep in touch with more people, so go for it. If you truly prefer one over the other, tell your friends from the other to get whatever you prefer, but you need both to do that.
