Reply:A good resource: A writer's manual. One that explains MLA, Chicago, and APA styles, along with explaining not-so-common grammar mistakes and other rules. While you could find this stuff online, spending the extra $35 is much better. Because you will deal with professors who want you to write in all three styles, it will get confusing to remember all the time.

Reply:Most universities and public libraries have a subscription to an academic website called www.jstor.org. Its a database of scholarly journals on every subject. Really helpful for research papers and such.
Reply:My daughter uses www.campuscompare.com. The site is great for gathering a lot of information on several colleges. You can also make notes and save information. We were both really impressed with the Resource Section as well. This really was one site where we could find it all! Good Luck!
