What do you think about the 6 degrees of separation theory?

where you are connected to everybody in the world by 6 people or less.

What do you think about the 6 degrees of separation theory?
It's just a theory. But it's a cool one. It points out how we are all connected and what a small world it really is.





It's feasible too and I've tried it just for fun when I'm bored and it works for me. It depends on how old you are and how many people you know.





I've done the 6 degree countdown with different people and often I can find it in only 3 or 4 degrees. Now, that's probably because I've worked for years in fields where I've come into contact with so many people. But, it does work :)

Reply:The first time I heard of that (way before the TV show came out) it was that everyone in the world is six degrees or less from Kevin Bacon, therefore Kevin Bacon is the center of the universe. Now, I don't live in Hollywood and have no contacts with the entertainment industry, and yet I am 2 degrees from Kevin Bacon. So yes, Keven Bacon IS the center of the universe. %26lt;G%26gt;
Reply:Interesting concept, but I don't think it has been proven to be true.... more of a possibility than a probability.
