Does anyone know of a student who was rejected from college b/c of their myspace, facebook or blog site??

Sometimes college admissions officers use Facebook or Myspace to check out prospective students, does anyone know someone this has happened to?

No, I don't, but people using these sites tend to forget that it IS a public forum that anyone can access. I have not heard of colleges doing this, but I do know that a lot of companies check facebook and other sites when considering potential employees.

Reply:no, but at my school we can get written up if an administrator finds drunk pictures of you of facebook...so don't let your friends tag you!
Reply:I've never heard of that, but there was a woman who was denied her degree because of her my space pictures.
